Good job and I'm sure it won't be just a toy but a heirloom the parents will cherish.

Thank you Larry! It may be a well work heirloom. I’ve considered making them and engraving just as heirlooms. I appreciate you watching!

Nice one! Just on it’s own, that’s a beautiful design beyond the fact that it is a rattle. Our 14 month old grandson would love that but with him it will have to be made of iron wood. He’s a bit of a “hulk the destroyer”. He likes anything that makes noise …louder the better. Cheers, Rick
@TheKlondikeCraftsman2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Rick! This isn’t too loud thankfully! Maybe just make the form from ironwood without the hollow center!

Very cool. It’s hard enough making two things look the same, making two things on the same object look the same is something else. That’s impressive.

Thanks Mark! The end user wasn’t too critical thankfully!

good job Lewis! it appears the little one is enjoying that new toy! some might say "what a nice simple little project". what I say is....I never knew how difficult turning a sphere really was....until I had to turn TWO of them, the same size, on the same piece of wood so close to each other! AND.....YOU had to make sure those spheres lined up with the blind holes inside each of them. well done!
@TheKlondikeCraftsman2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Dave! My wife questioned why I didn’t put it in the projects that sell for beginner’s. I explained it was not a beginner project despite how simple the finished project looked. I appreciate your appreciation!

@@TheKlondikeCraftsman i appreciate how something so seemingly simple (like that baby rattle) ends up not being so simple, because ive bailed off into projects like that, and made a mess out of em!

Another awesome job Lewis. I amazes me how you can look at a pieces of wood, glue them together and "freehand" such a perfectly symmetrical design. And of course the owner is such a handsome boy!
