Wow! Amazing! If it were just a hollow form it would have been cool. If you had just added the wings it would have been spectacular. But burning the wings kicks it to even a higher level. Excellent craftsmanship and creativity. Inspirational. Thank you

As I mentioned elsewhere, that drastic scorching of the wings ruined the piece for me. You obviously understand why filling in those natural cracks would be a bad idea, so for the exact same reason, that scorching detracts from the visual beauty of this piece. The delineation between the sphere and wings is contrast enough, it would’ve given it a transitional feeling instead of a poor, amateurish line between the differently treated parts. It won’t stop me looking forward to your next amazing creation however. Excellent concept.
