You're right to say that black palm has the coolest grain, it almost looks like animal print. Very handsome indeed, and I love it that you never stain any of your pieces.

WOW! That is definitely a cool and beautiful finished piece of art... don't really think it needs anything further. However, the time and patience it must have taken to get to that end result must have been extensive with all the individual cutting and gluing, and drying, and gluing some more, etc... It was like an intricate jigsaw puzzle that had to be methodically assembled. AMAZING! Thanks for sharing, and take care.

I can't tell you how many segmented rings I've assembled, and how many approaches I've taken to it... but seeing you dip the veneer pieces in glue and slide them between the dry-assembled ring: mind blown. Thanks for sharing!

Absolutely beautiful! I love your work! The shapes you create are so wonderful. The 'surprise inside' and the 'cool conker' are my absolute favorite of all the woodturning I have watched. And I've watched a ton because I'm addicted. But your pieces are without a doubt the best! And, the Yew root! How could I forget the Yew root? Not only us the shape awesome but the wood is spectacular! I think I've watched that one at least 4 times, just can't get enough of it. Yes, you are definitely my favorite!
