Jackie Chapman of Jak. Natural Designs has made a full-time career out of the art of woodturning and woodworking in the small town of Blue River, British Columbia. This documentary is about her life, work, spirit, and home in the summer of 2022.

Nice video. Perhaps the best aspect of it os that I dpn't see a wide assortment of Easy Wood turning tools. Thankfully, I started turning before they came along. To me, every one of them are glorified scrapers. The old expression "when all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail" holds true in turning. I am not totally against tools that make thinbgs a litt;e easier for youi, butit is far better to learn how to use a gauge versus a spindle gouge, versus a bowl gauge versus a scraper versus a negative rake scraper makes you a craftsperson and artist as opposed to a technician. Love your design sense.
