Woodturning - Natural Edge Wing Bowl

This bowl is rough turned piece of Catawba that I found through a Craigslist post. I've put it in a paper bag to slow down the drying time. Hopefully in a month or so the bowl will be dry, crack free, and ready to finish.

Wonderful work . I've tried a wing bowl recently but was slightly off centre . Great tip to "re-align" bowl mid turn to centralise it , I'll try again now , add 1 sub from UK

Just out of curiosity but does the walnut oil alter the drying properties of the wood?

jack, I'm not sure if it will affect the drying process. My guess is that the oil may slightly slow down the drying time, but that is typically helpful in preventing cracking. Thanks for watching.
