Thank you for your comment as always!🙇🇯🇵 It takes a little experience to do this freehand like I do. It is necessary to have a sense of discerning the cutting sound. However, if you use a laser like Jemeson, I think the effort will be 1/10. I'm freehand to do it happily, not just make it. Have a happy turning!!

Your art always intrigues me. Your sense of spatial acuity never ceases to amaze me. But this project takes my breath away! You chose the perfect piece of wood. I sincerely believe that you can "hear" the material telling you what it wants to be and you graciously grant its wish.

@@YamabikoWoodArt I was at Kadena Air Force Base in 1985/86. I was young and did not know how great it was to serve in Japan. Now I relive Japan on KZbin. I love Sumo and I can watch live steam in a couple of weeks. I also watch the Soft Bank CM with the white dog Otosan "The White Family". Then there is "Only In Japan", John does a great job on the videos and he films many places in Japan. He has lived there for over 20 years. Good morning. It's really beautiful. It reminds me of the planet Jupiter with its vortexes and color. The craziest thing is that it is only in your home that I saw the wood worked with such finesse that it becomes translucent. I guess it's as fragile as glass, even more. As always I have a question. There is no risk that light will damage it? It is true that with the new generation of bulbs there is no more heat as with the old ones. But still I wonder if the light that seems strong enough does not risk weakening the wood. Thank you for this beautiful video. I wish you a very good day. Gabriel (France).
@YamabikoWoodArt4 жыл бұрын
Good morning! 🙇🇯🇵 We received various opinions such as the sun and planets. I think that there is no problem if the light bulb is about 60w. In addition, the strength of the wood is considerably higher due to the paint that increases the strength of the penetrating wood. However, since the standard of the light bulb metal fittings is different from that of overseas, it seems that another metal fitting will be required to use it overseas. We are considering whether to improve it to a stand lamp.
