hey Tim, the hexagon is quite simple. Take your compasses, draw a circle on the wood. Mark one point on the circleline and walk with your compasses 6 times around on the circleline. Join the 6 points. Here you are. Greetings from Austria

I have no silver and gold pens as well. They do good for wood and metal. If you draw a circle with a set of dividers; that circle will determine the points on the hexagon. That same radius is used to mark around the circle where those points are located on that circle. When you connect those points that will give you the flats of the hexagon. The hexagon is actually six triangles where all the sides are the same length as the radius. A 1-in radius gives you a 1 inch flat. An inch and a half radius gives you an inch and a half flat.

Time, Circle is 360 degrees, divide by the number of sides to the polygon to get the angles, thus 360/6= 60 Degrees.

hexagon is very simple. There is a very easy formula to calculate polygon angels (M-2)*180. M = how many angles. (6-2)*180=720° 720°:6°=120° so the table saw should be at 60°

Is simply 360 degrees divided by 6 equals 60 degrees..... Also compass radius go to the circumference go around mark and you get 6 points.... Simple....

You know you could just simply glue the paper template of hexagon onto the wood you want to cut a curtain shape.
