I had my bank tell me they were going to close my one acc as I didn't have any $$ in it, I paid my usual bills with a lil extra an it was not gonna be more then 3 days sitting at $0!~

if you go to a Herb store they only accept cash, so until the feds legalize it, cash will remain needed!~

Some establishments are 100 % cashless now. Steak n Shake restaurant I went to was cashless. I walked out.

And what do we use when there is a glitch in the payment system ? In Australia there are long distances between fill ups in the outback ,so no signal no fuel ⛽ . . but I can trade the Mrs. for some fuel !

They should get it to where you can scan your bottle slips and winning lottery tickets on your phone then that money could show up in your bank account the next day instead of being paid in cash

Credit cards and phones are slower, I'm always behind the dude in a line who is trying to scan his card. Not me, I know how much the item I'm going to purchase will cost, so i go into my pocket and hand the clerk a $20 and walk out.

Going cashless is fiscally irresponsible. Why do thing casinos use chips? It gives the impression that its not real money. Also, when you go cashless you are involving a 3rd party intermediary - the government.

They have a bank in Australia the is now cashless. No cash deposits or withdrawals. The dollar is weak and we don't have the economic power anymore. China is working on cashless in the next year. There are small countries that have been cashless for years now. The under 30 generation uses electronic cash and because of that it is helping push the digital currency. It's coming and I don't think we have a chance against those who want a 1 world government and doing that means taking control of people's money and food. They are working on the food part too.

Mostly use a debit card. Rarely pay cash for anything anymore. Occasionally may write a check. 😉
