Bro the amount of rebates Shawn got was ridiculous. If this is supposed to be any sort of a serious comp, they need to get those rules locked down. Rebate for a foot drag, or a bad lock-in, sure but when you straight up miss the trick, give ‘em the letter, man.

YES just like King of Macba they switch between riders even after a make, so losing ro-sham-bo doesn't lock you into defending 53 turns in a row like we've just seen in BATB. Hope this catches on even more. Sick contest, contestants and judges. Thank you Woodward.

No it definitely makes sense for batb to keep things the way it is for flatground. There’s no obstacle and everyone is on level playing ground. But in this or king of Macba or anything with an obstacle it makes sense to change because people can have completely different skill sets and if someone can’t do any grabs or hand plants etc it just stops the other person from beating them in one turn on offence. Even like grinds and slides where they get two turns on defence and three on last letter. BATB is good the way it is, as is this

With the level flatground has gotten to in the last decade, you get dudes like Carlos Ribeiro, Chris Joslin, and Cody Cepeda who can consistently set 40+ tricks in a row. They get a massive advantage due to simple chance in the rock/paper/scissors. Alternating would mean fewer skilled competitors getting skunked because they flopped something as meaningless as the ro-sham-bo
