Shop Nation you tube channel has adaptors for the miter saw. He has them for many brands and they seem to do a really great job at cutting the mess down. Great tour with lots of great ideas!

Sawstop actually sells a cabinet that goes on the right or left side of the saw for accessory storage. They also have a router table extension that goes in one end of the fence assembly as an extension table. All that stuff is quite expensive though. Right now my shop is a disaster. Trying to move stuff out of the way so I can install another section of floor. My grandfather passed away recently, so the family out of the blue decided they want all of my grandfather's wood working tools. So, I'm kind of holding off doing much of anything until all the machines are out of the shop and I can start from scratch.

Yes, Sawstop specific stuff is going to be the expensive route. I'm still planning on building a cabinet beneath the saw, just haven't had time yet!

Nice shop man. I’m with ya on the bandsaw upgrade. I have an old craftsman and the struggle is real! Great tip on the 8” jointer also!

Semper Fi brother! I'm slowly getting my shop set up. I'm definitely going to have a go at some flags.

You can get a riser kit to make your bandsaw have 12in resaw compacity for cheap.

I've thought about getting a riser block. I've heard people have had issues with blade tension and vibration after installing them so I haven't attempted it yet.

I don't, but if you head over to The Wood Whisperer, that is where I got the design from. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iovGimacfJt_mJI

I’ve noticed the Marines logo on the flag on the wall. Did you serve?

Yes, active duty from 2002-2006. I was stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC and did two tours in Iraq.

the workbench in the back, with all the drawers, where did you get it? Or did you build it? If so, good job!
@biscuittreewoodworks Жыл бұрын
I built it, and it's been through a few iterations. It actually started out as open cubbies with adjustable shelves and it was almost a foot deeper. I cut off the back to make it more standard cabinet depth. Then I decided to add drawers. I wish I had made the drawers smaller and more of them, it would add a bit more utility and organization.
