Woodworking Vise / Wooden vise / Bench vise / DIY

Hello Everyone,
Today I will make a woodworking vise, friends. Even if the materials it has been made from has differed over the millennia, the way the woodworker’s faithful friend has been used has never changed. The most useful support on the side of the workbench. Holds the piece in a tight grip. When the tool is the one doing the job, it is the craftsman that gathers all praise.
This is one of the most indispensable tools for anyone that does woodworking. You too can build a vise for your workbench. I had purchased the primary shaft. You can make your own by buying threaded rod. They come in various sizes, which you can cut to your preferred length.
Heavy duty jobs generally require ones made from metal, whereas ones created from lower strength materials rely more on friction force, relying on pressure.
Vices essentially consist of a hook and a screw-like structure with radial threads on it that can move freely on a metal rod that is connected perpendicular to the hook.
When using the vice, first the hook is placed under the surface to be pressed. Secondly, the movable structure on the metal bar is placed on the surface to be pressed and the screw is turned by hand.
As a result, higher rates of uninterrupted pressure are applied to the surface to be pressed, in each rotation of the screw.
In other words, the vises and clamps are tools used in carpentry, joinery and similar professions. It is a hand tool that allows clamping a piece of wood, or gluing it, more easily. It is widely used especially in furniture production and frequently preferred for home hobby purposes or for use in basic construction work at times.
Vises and clamps are multi-functional tools and have also become indispensable parts of tool bags. Whilst it may be a hand tool that is extremely simple to use it also requires attention. At the same time, when two or more pieces of wood needs to be glued, a clamp, or clamps squeezing it with clamps until the glue dries, makes the work more perfect.
Answers to questions like, “What are vises?” and “What types of vises are there?” will take up a lot of space, but in the end, the vise is a tool that consists of two jaws, one of which is fixed and the other moves with the help of a threaded rod, that connect workpieces between these jaws. A superb outcome mate, I made my first bench clamp with cheap sash clamps & rigged the out under my workbench but this solution is much better. The world is a happier place when Mehmet is making creative videos 👍👍👍👍

Ellerine sağlık usta Niçin 1/2 T sihhi tesisat borusu ile trapez vida ve milli satın alıp kendi mengeni ne kendin yapmadın hazır satın aldın böyle daha pahalıya mal oldu..

Merhaba fatih kardeşim. 2 yıl önce aynen dediğin gibi bir tane yaptım. zamanla gijon milin dişi sıyırma yaptı. Burada sadece orta mili satın aldım. O da kampanya varmış. tesadüf denk geldi çok uygun fiyata aldım. Galiba 70 tl idi. Dolayısı ile bu tür bir mili tornacıya çektirmek için sordum ve bana 150 tl fiyat söylemişti :-) Gijon mil metrelik satılıyor 24 mm kalınlıklı alsak zaten 45 tl. dolayısı ile bu gerçekten çok çok uyguna geldi ve sağlam oldu. izlediğin ve fikir verdiğin için teşekkür ederim. Büyük selamlar. sağlıklı ve mutlu kal.

Mehmet Usta... Eline sağlık güzel oldu. Fakat montajı ters yaptın gibi geldi. Dişli gijon alt eksende, 2X 16 mm.lik kılavuz hizalama boruları üst eksende olmalıydı. Orijinal diğer yapımlarda böyle. Kılavuz boruları üstte ve aynı hizada oldukları için mengeneye sıkıştırdığın işlenecek parça da kılavuz boruların üstünde düz dururdu. (04:36 'dan itibaren...) Delikleri A şeklinde değil, V şeklinde delmeliydin.

Merhaba Semih kardeşim. Aslında bende öyle yapacaktım. Fakat bir çok yabancı videolarda bu şekilde. Bir de benim kullanacağım malzemelere bu şekil daha uyumlu olduğunu düşündüm. Yoksa sizin dediğiniz gibi de elbette yapılır. kullanım açısından genel anlamda iyi ve mantıklı da olurdu.
