Toy Story is a children's movie, adding that background to the movie would have been too deep for a child to understand so I kind of see why it wasn't in the movie. If it was added in there then it would have changed the whole vibe of the movie, but it is cool to know the backstory of Woody.

It's literally in the 2nd movie. Andy's mom says "it's an old family toy, it's not for sale" when the chicken guy was trying to buy woody. Also maybe he gave woody and the other toys to the little girl because that's actually his daughter.
@yammgrier139810 ай бұрын
The mom didn't have money for Andy's father surgery so he won't die but it was too late and Andy's dad died but Andy's now the dad became the spirit of the toy woody that is why he can talk and move he didn't want andy to know because if he found out he'd be scared and not belive him this is the full story of Andy's father.

Polio does not Reoccur, you catch it and it messes up your legs and if it Progress far enough in can Paralyze you and kill you. My Dad had Polio as a Child and it really messed up his legs my Dad would have been a foot and a half taller if he hadn’t caught Polio as a Child. My Dad’s Ankles are so small and weak he has to have Boots 🥾 with a hard backing on them so his Ankles don’t give out on him. There is Post Polio Syndrome but this happens years later to not very many people as little as 15% of Polio Survivors get Post Polio Syndrome so it’s very Rare. There aren’t many people left who lived through the first Polio Pandemic, my Dad is 84 years old right now and just last June got Diagnosed with Dementia and Alzheimers so he can’t remember that he ever had Polio as a child anymore, it used to be all he ever talked about was how his own Mother had to hold him down while so called Doctors piled Wet Sandbags on top of my Dad as a child and Shocked him Repeatedly thinking they were helping my Dad but they were making things worse and mentally scaring my Dad for life, my Dad still has Nightmares about those Horrible Days of his Childhood but all I can do is get him his Heating Pad and Comfort him when he gets upset and cries late at night. I’ve also had a very hard life myself with my own Medical Conditions being Immunocompromised and Developed Mentally Disabled is very hard because I’m so good and some things like taking things apart and putting them back together but ask me a Math Question and I Fumble all over the place trying to get an answer for you.
