I love this animated complications of Woody Woodpecker! 😀 He's my favorite cartoon character of all time. I'm really proud that Woody is no longer underrated because Woody is getting a lot more attention. Thank goodness for *The Woody Woodpecker Movie* came out few weeks ago, I read online that the film is number one on the Brazilian film chart. I hope to see the film in Americanized releasing DVD or Blu-ray. 💿🎦 Woody Woodpecker is an cartoon legend just like Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny, Scooby Doo, SpongeBob SquarePants and The Simpsons. 😁👍 Plus, he has a star 🌟 on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Great work on bringing this reanimation collab to fruition! You chose a nicely broad range of animators with various styles! The 2D segments by Sergio Filho, Will Fernandes and Robson Menezes were my favourite out of them all, because their quality was close to that of TV animation standards. Plus, the unique 3D work by Pedro Magalhães and Antônio Linhares was an interesting breath of fresh air too!

So I know that Woody Woodpecker is popular in Brazil and this collab was all done by Brazilian animators, but I was wondering if Brazilians actually liked the 2018 live action movie, since it did go to theaters over there.

I personally hated it by the trailer, and didn't watch it and i fell like most of people also disliked it. But I know it made some good money in boxoffice in Brazil. Also selled products with fast food toys. People are just needy for nostalgic content. That's why so many reboots are out there. I find it insane... Also you can see by the collab that we animators are no different from everyonelse. But fuck that trash film!

Here's the plot of this episode. A street vendor is selling mechanical wind-up woodpecker dolls which catch the attention of a wealthy widower who parks a very expensive vehicle. Woody sees this as an opportunity and disguises himself as a mechanical toy. The woman picks Woody to be a toy for her son, Reginald, and heads to her home which is an elaborate mansion that most people dream about owning. Woody starts getting second thoughts, realizing that Reginald is an overgrown boy that has a pentant for destroying toys. At lunchtime the woodpecker starts putting his plan to freeload into action. Reginald starts catching on realizing that Woody is no toy and tries to feed the woodpecker an extremely spicy sandwich which ends up in his own mouth after having pepper heavily added to concoction. The boy makes a mad dash to the swimming pool to cool his mouth and tongue off but before he could land, Woody drains the pool. This gets Reginald all riled up and it leads him to destroy everything in his path. Reginald's mother unfortunately gets caught up in the middle of his rampage which ultimately leads her to giving her son a very painful spanking that ends the cartoon.

Well it's because I remember seeing the original version of the cartoon which was released in the mid 1950's. This episode wasn't one of Walter Lantz's better known cartoon episodes but it did have some morality points to it. And also it wasn't posted on the information part like some cartoons are.
