WOODZ made his debut almost 10 years ago, he's far from being new. It's just people didn't really took notice of him until he participated in the survival Show "produce X 101" and was voted in to the final 10. That's when people started to slowly get more curious about him, after that he released his EP "Equal" in 2020 (which imo is his best Album to date) that pretty much blew him up to a wider audience, which is how he ended up getting more popular.
