Steve.... Tanerite! A small amount, mixed. I think the impact from the cone and 220, will have enough impact to set it off. That would be epic. Motor will probably survive, but soft parts and possibly basket, pending amount used, will go up in one hell of a spectacular fashion. That is a 3" coil on that woofer no?

Voltage from Power and Resistance V=√P⋅R if you do the math that means a 20k watt amp at 2 ohms in your car is already sending 200 volts AC to the sub! i never knew voltages like this were happening.

@androvisser33728 ай бұрын
I am assuming that is a 3 phase or 2 phase plug and you were correct saying they are out of phase however its not a simple negative and positive swop, that would be a 180 degree phase shift, 3 phase has 120 degrees between phases and 2 phase is 90 degrees phase shifted
@meade9168 ай бұрын
actually yes it is a simple neg/pos swap. Relax champ. You are trying too hard.
@androvisser33728 ай бұрын
@@meade916 Can we converse about this a little? I love what you did here, I'm just wondering what would have happened if you had the full sine wave. If you look at your slow-mo footage you can see the cone is moving up and down but at the very first cycle it goes up fully then down halfway then up and down halfway for the rest of the test, What caused this if not phase shift. I'm not hating, I just want to see some full excursion. Love your content. Wish we had these kinds of woofers in South Africa, We don't have importers for monster woofers like these
