The player base in Asia is still huge. Every decision they've made has been a calculated move to gain players in Asia, end of story. If they lose one player in NA because they're tired of dances and dumb skins being added, it's because they know the dances and dumb skins will gain them two players in South Korea

@@randoliof that's partially true. the game also lost a huge amount of players un Asia. it's not like pumping new skins all the time will bring players back, because it won't in any region including asia. it's just that people there like these kind of stuff more and people on the other side of the world doesn't.. it's like a cultural thing, but people on asia get mad as much as western players, and if you see the polls all the time you will see that regarding gameplay stuff there is a trend worldwide about the feeling towards pubg Corp. we could say that the wick is larger on Asia but it will eventually end if they still fucking up

europe is crowded dude. and playerbase steadily stabilized. there is no reason to assume the initial playerbase should be taken as the standard to measure current stable playerbase. any games playerbase decreases extremely in the first weeks

The devs don't listen because they don't care about the EU or NA player base, and Australia isn't even a blip on the radar Every single decision they make is designed with the Asia-Pac player base in mind, period I feel like most players want maps the size of Erangel, that play at that pace, with minor tweaks to the blue zone and to the loot so it speeds up the mid game a little bit. No bots, no gimmicks, and actual mil-sim skins, instead of the trash they put in the game (again, designed with an Asian audience in mind) The list of asks from the devs outside of normal quality of life and optimization fixes is pretty small, but they've ignored basically all of them Damn shame too, because PUBG is the king of BRs. The only game that even comes close for realistic mil-sim looter shooters is Tarkov, and that's not a BR.

Just by looking at this gameplay, one of the big updates that they make is something about the drop of the loot crate. It`s not ok that 2 loot crates are droping in the almost same spot. I feel like they should do an aoe algorithm for the airplane and avoid droping another crate within idk something like 200-300m radius around another drop. Dristibute them all around the map.

Tried playing ranked yesterday, I stopped trying after 30 minutes que... Pubg always had to many modes.. There are to little players as it is, we need to collect players to a solid group, it's pretty much time to ditch third person mode so there will be enough players

i guess NA pubg is dead but europe is really alive. both ranked and pubs are crowded with people, instant games, max 20% bots. i think steamcharts actually says there is a stable 200k playerbase, which is not bad at all for an old game like this.
