I used crossbow on my warrior to get through the campaign. Built gas grenade with scatter shot, armor break buildup on poison, and armor explosion. Trying to get it to work on maps.

Open encounter with hand of chalupa, quarterstaff to build combo, bell, vault back, delete bell with crossbow machine gun, lather, rinse, repeat till boss dead. Scale generic dage modifiers like crit and elemental damage, use weapon swap points for crossbow/proj and quarterstaff/melee2H respectively. Stonks.

When the full game is out, and they introduced the dualist there will be swords which require both dexterity and strength. With weapon set points, it should be easier to invest in both.

Other than the obvious issues with warrior, is that there's no dual herald builds for it, so monk, ranger and any other class that can run heralds clear better. This is why heralds will likely be gutted, they're overtuned

Put it together. Warbringer break armor explosion, crossbow explosion shot, gloves that change fire to ice damage and harold of ice. 2H in slot 2 for hammer and sunder. 2H passives count for crossbow too.

I saw a video of this build last week. My problem with it: need STR for the mace, DEX for the crossbow and INT for the H. Ice.

@matheusgazola764 just enough int and dex to equip the skill and crossbow. Dont need accuracy because all attacks are aoe. Also dont need giants blood because you're only using it for the hammer and sunder.

You can make your damage skyrocket by getting 100% magnitude of shock. It’s easy, I’m lvl 65 witch hunter and I’m at 79% already following the build layout from some other merc players. Also the belt that increases max damage

i mean there are plenty of other warrior builds that do massively more / faster damage than cultist hammer for mace strike which is just a meme. you're missing so much damage not using herald/pol and building so much into slam but then not using a slam for clear, etc.
