"Players just aren´t ready for the New World expierence - they are formed by modern skinner box games. New World is just truly new, it dishes out new content every patch: The bugs are the content. The grinding: Boring. Getting crashed through an chat exploit: Thats innovative entertainment. The way to play the game is not to watch copy-pasted videos of the most effiecent grind, the best build and replicate - it is to read the bug report forum, in which one can read - by design - how to replicate bugs and exploits. The adventure isn´t to walk around in a boring world to the fight copy-pasted mobs, it is to try to cheat as much as u can get away with - that is exciting. Metacommentary "postmodern" games are lame and boring - New World is truly postmodern in its design." -A comment on another New World video that deserves to be copypasta.

I mean... I played New World, and the actual core gameplay was actually pretty good. I liked running around shooting monsters with a flintlock rifle, but I stopped because the crafting (which I normally go hard on) seemed kinda pointless. I'd spend hours grinding iron to build more guns to level up my gunsmithing crafting level so that I could spend all of my 'good' resources to make the best gun possible for myself, and then just find a better weapon in a random box two minutes later. No attempt was made to make crafted weapons better than found ones, and keeping your crafting level on-par with your actual combat level is a huge fucking chore because resource nodes are shared between players. If you run out to where the iron ore spawns and someone else got there first, then you get no fucking iron. And the way crafting materials are set up, everyone in the entire game needs iron. No matter what their crafting level is or what they're marking. Clothes need iron, plate armour need a LOT of iron. Melee weapons need iron, Caster-weapons need iron. Ranged weapons need iron. You need a lot of fucking iron in this game. Wood is easier, because trees are everywhere, but higher-level materials from rare trees probably suffer the same problem.

Jeez. So I checked Amazon's titles: They technically started releasing games... on the Amazon appstore. Their first game was a phone/tablet management "Facebook" game til after 2015 when Wayforward (Yeah, weirdly) developed Til Morning's Light. But when they really wanted to jump in the "Triple AAA" wagon They released the beta of Crucible... until it was unreleased. And there was Breakaway... that was cancelled. Even the Lord of the Rings MMO got scrapped. So now they have this South Korean built game called Lost Ark.
