It seems that the city is taking over all the wild places, in and around the outskirts, and edges of the city, to include, only joggers, and bike riders, and walkers, and frisbee throwers. There are other citizens that enjoy the wild places on the edge and outskirts of Fayetteville, but on a different level. Those people are bow hunters. We are people that love to hunt with only the bow and arrow. We don't need a huge National forest to hunt in. When there are many woodlots in and around Fayetteville, to hunt in. However, we are being left out. It only seems that they care about us when it comes to voting. when these wild places are posted against our use and enjoyment. Then they go to waste for years, and are then torn up to make housing lots. Bow hunters need these wild places. We bow hunters don't need a parking lot built that coast thousands of dollars. We don't need a walking trail built. We just need the city to share some of these small wild places with us, and not ordinance us out. - We have the right to enjoy these wild places too. Believe it or not, some citizens want us to hunt in these spots. Only to have the city police called on us, for hunting in woods that hadn't seen a citizen since the covered wagon days. When he could be doing something more important; like catching bad guys. Because the deer are a nuisance to some citizens - with their abundance. We can be a help, and not a liability. In the season to come give us some thought. It's our hunting heritage to hunt these wild places. Don't make outlaws out of us all.!
