You are the only artist that I really can't tell if your watercolor artwork is made traditionally or on Procreate. Iis so beautiful and realistic that you really can't tell if it is a soft, analog watercolor or a perfectly executed digital watercolor! 🤗

So pretty! Thank you for showing us your process with these brushes. I've had the brush pack for a while but just haven't been able to figure out which ones to use when for specific effects. Please share more using these brushes! Thanks, again :)

What a lovely design and I did learn something new, never thought about painting on a layer to cover text and then using the selection tool. So many things to learn but that was a very cool technique! Thank you for sharing!

I bought the brushes and maybe it's the iPad I have, but the selection/inversion of text did not work for me after several tries. I ended up using a workaround by clipping and merging. There were some areas where stems appeared without painting, layers flipped without mention, but overall great tutorial and I learned a lot! GD has been my hobby for 18 years, yet this is my first watercolor! I would love to have the color pallet, the colors you chose are so lovely. Looking forward to trying more of your tutorials. Thank you!

I don’t know whether it is because I am using a regular iPad rather than the iPad Pro, but my iPad will not perform the functions of selection at 3:09 in the video. I also noticed that at 2:25 you selected the paint layer beneath the letter layer, but at 2:52 the paint layer was above the letter layer. Should the layers have been moved in order to carry out the selections? Is there an alternative method to achieve the watercolour effect on the letter? My iPad also did not blacken the letter when I selected the layer as yours did. Please advise.

Thank you for this lovely tutorial! What you've created is so beautiful. I'm following along with the tutorial, and I can't seem to get the tapered endings you're getting on the leaves. Your leaves are perfection! Using the Japanese Scratch Ink brush, my beginnings and endings are blobs, even though I'm trying to adjust my pen pressure. Any advice? Thanks so much and please do more tutorials!
@WoolyPronto4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment! I didn't do any adjustments to the brush settings, so it could be something to do with the size of the brush when I'm painting the leaves? However, you can try going into the brush settings by tapping on it, and then on the left side under "brush studio", there is a menu - from there you can enter the Taper settings and play around with the amounts. And you can always go down to "about this brush" to hit Reset for a fresh start. Hope this helps!!

Hey the license on these brushes say you can't use them to sell clip art. Can you advise?
@WoolyPronto2 жыл бұрын
Hi! That seems weird, and I wasn't aware of that! I checked Abbie's site (www.uproot.shop/faqs) and she states that you can sell things you make with her brushes (with the obvious exception of selling the brushes, canvases or product art). If you want extra confirmation, you can contact her to ask! I'll also reach out to my contact at Design Cuts (not sure if that's where you purchased from) to inquire about that part of the license, because it honestly doesn't make sense to me at all.... clipart is a totally different end product than brushes!

Hi Addie, I just bought the entire brushes libraries that you recommend to do all your tutorials. But HOW are you making the watercolor blend on 2:39 like that... are you smudging?? Because I don’t see it! :( Please help!
@kizzlugo4 жыл бұрын
Also, what color palette are you using? Thank you so much for your help!
@WoolyPronto4 жыл бұрын
Hi Kizzy! I hope you love the watercolor brush set! With that particular brush (the Soft & Damp brush) using really really light pressure softens the edges which almost achieves that blending effect. So I was using heavy pressure at the start of the brush strokes and then lighter pressure at the end (without lifting the pencil) to get that look! And, the palette I used here was the March monthly palette from my resource library (available to my newsletter subscribers - if you haven't signed up you can here: www.woolypronto.com/newsletter) :)

Hey, thanks for posting, this is fantastic! Do you know if the Everything Watercolor Procreate Pack comes with the watercolor texture layers you used here? I went to the page from your link, but it only mentions the brushes.
@WoolyPronto4 жыл бұрын
Hi Jeremy, so sorry for the delayed response! The texture canvas should be included - you're right, the product description doesn't mention the canvas, but I do see this line: "File Types Included: .BRUSHSET, .PROCREATE" - the .procreate file is a canvas. If it isn't, let me know !

I really REALLY want to follow this, but.....I have to stop and rewind over and over to SEE what you are doing because you don't actually say when you are rearranging layers, changing layers properties, etc. I am finding this very hard to follow and am super frustrated. Do you happen to have this as a written tutorial?
@WoolyPronto4 жыл бұрын
Jennifer L Nilsson I’m so sorry for the difficulties in following this! 😔 I’m working on getting a written version up on my site and should have it done soon (within a week or so!). I never want you to feel that you’ve wasted time or anything with my tutorials so I’m terribly sorry for the lack of clarity (I’m trying now to always name my layers and just be more clear on steps, but wasn’t as organized here). And thanks for taking the time to leave feedback - it seriously is so helpful! 💕

Me too lost in the step of selecting the layer, invert, again select watercolour layer. I think you moved the watercolour layer up. I have to rewind the video so many times to find out this. But even after select and drag watercolour layer I still have the brushes outside the letter. I tried it nearly 20 times still the same 🤔 Still can't figure it out. Otherwise Thanks for the video.

it’s good but why tf do u even have to pay for the brushes??? its a frikin brush for procreate...
@WoolyPronto4 жыл бұрын
Hi Caitlyn! Thanks for watching and commenting! A lot of Procreate brushes are sold separate from the app, because they are custom made by individuals who put time and effort into developing them, learning the brush engine and attributes. You can definitely recreate this with free brushes that you find to download, or any of the default brushes that come with the app - these are just brushes that I recommend to help achieve a more realistic watercolor effect. But brush creators definitely put a lot of time and reps in to make the brushes, so I think paying the for their work makes sense :) Hope this helps answer your question.
