We’ve just had one of these installed but I can’t find the on bottom if I want to boost or have the heating constantly on, I’ve checked the user manual but unable to find it?

The fact is for the vast majority of UK domestic houses this boiler is not a particularly good choice. The ‘average’ heat loss from the average dwelling is around 4kwh at an ambient of -2c and the minimum firing rate of 7kwh of this boiler means it would be permanently cycling on and off which is damaging for efficiency and the thermal cycling involved leads to problems with reliability. As a frame of reference I live in a 140m2, 5 bed detached built 2000 with OK but not great insulation. At -2C my heat loss is 4kwh, fortunately I selected a boiler which has a minimum firing rate of 2Kwh - my boiler never ever cycles. I have seen these boilers (in the video) the 36Kw version in 2 bedroom flats - combi slingers have a lot to answer for.😳
