Worcester Porcelain First Period Part 3 - Les Peterkin

Several years ago I prepared a Power Point Presentation on the subject of Worcester Porcelain, the First Period for a talk at the Ceramic Collectors Society in Sydney. I have recently decided to use the material from this presentation to make three videos on this my favourite of the 18th Century English porcelains.

I find that Worcester looks yellowish green when I shine a bright flashlight through it. Does all of the 1st period Worcester?

Hello Katie- Thanks for your comment and interest. Yes -the yellowish green is typical of the translucency of early Worcester due to the steatite content of the paste..
