One source I came across is firesteel.com and you would want the "micro" rod.

It seems a lot easier to me to just carry a lighter in the pocket with my knife.

Yes sir, I totally agree a lighter is a preferred and easy option but it takes up more pocket real estate and butane can be problematic in extremely cold conditions.
