This was one of the most profound messages I have heard. Almost like the A, B, C's or steps to simply understand, how the Holy Spirit is at work within. Grace/Acknowledgement/Mission. I for one, will be replaying this a lot, thank you Bishop Barron.

I heard the words of the Old Testament and the New Testament at mass when I was a child and it made no impression on me. I heard the same words as a teenager and still no it had no significant effect. I heard the words as an adult and some interpretations by some priests with little effect. Now as a senior citizen i hear the same words and read the books of the Fathers and Doctors of the church and the light bulb over my head burns brightly. The good bishop gives us his Sunday Sermons and that light becomes a beacon with great intensity. I just hope that these revelations are not too late for me and with whom I choose to share them. I woefully did not share them with my children as I should have. God forgive me!!!

I seem to bear the weight of the world on my shoulders as a single mom, I often face challenges that can seem insurmountable especially with raising two children with special needs. I don't know why my feelings are different, instead of feeling unworthiness, I feel the grace and joys of experiencing God's power in the Catholic faith, and gratefulness for God's leading me in that path. Nevertheless, the times I feel unworthy are those when I stand in front of the cross and think of Jesus passion and his sacrifice. At the cross, I think if someone like me is deserving. Grateful for His love, not knowing what more to do to be at the level of it.

It's because Jesus Christ has been convicted through the years. He's innocent. In Matthew 5:11-12, "God said to His people when they keep mistreating me, keep insulting me, and hurting me, and also, they will lie and say all kinds of evil things about me because you are following me, and feeding me. But when they do, you will be happy. Rejoice and be glad, because you have a great reward waiting for you in heaven.” St. John, pray for us. St. Don Bosco, pray for us. 🍂

Lol , crying my eyes out , maybe the music in the background, Wichita Lineman , any Jimmy Webb song makes me cry , but I somehow think not . I get this fully , I’ve been given the breakthrough of His grace , I know it , I’m living it and it is unlike any other experience. By the way , none of us are worthy of this King , but the grace has come to me , given to me after walking through hell of my husband’s illness and death . Get it , got it , good . Tears are drying, for now . Love you . PS , my husband would call me and play Glenn Campbell songs , I’d start crying ,he would die laughing . Sigh

in my opinion, the offering that pleases our Good Shepherd, God Christ, is reconciliation with our brother, and just deciding to try it, I think is a great step in my opinion, we are a generation of too many lost people, without a good Shepherd to guide us because we do not allow ourselves to be guided by what is good and Holy, in our pride we believe we are saved in the things and habits of this baseless lost generation, foolish people admiring the foolishness of others and our own. Christianity is the hope of a much better, and truly Happy, humanity. the good is more than obvious and more than sensible, the self-justification to live far from the good suffocates us in the spiral of unhappiness

It is interesting how in the Old Testament the Jews put God where he should be - we as christians (also) should raise ourselves up to be worthy creatures of God, he made us! Instead we are obsessed with being sinners and committing sin, surely if we are made in his image, we should stand up and fight to be something, to be someone, for our honour, in honour of him who made us.

I wish people that I know, and in my family didn’t not know God. They think they’re not good or they can’t live up to what God wants and so they just live their lives with their problems. I wish there was a good way to get these people to realize that they’re not alone and there’s 1 million other people like that… And it just takes knowing God because they’re probably afraid of him. And they need to know this is a loving God but they won’t know that unless they start opening up to him somehow.

a Christian, is a living Blessing among us. let us ask God the Creator that our generation of false Christians be decimated, and that true Christians may be born from us, thanks to the blessed Conversion. having Christians, we will not lack Priests, consecrated persons, good husbands and better Families, we will not lack Peace. It reminds you of the good in the world. Especially doing things like spending time with your children, looking for spiritual and positive news stories, or doing some volunteering in your community. Your beliefs help shape the world views like your doing controlling in every corner but it goes back to me. You might reflect your values by performing random acts of kindness, being compassionate, and sharing stories that you don't get anything out of me when it comes back because God rewarded me for your execution of bullying.
