I just got 5-star today, I spent hours making really big paths and chairs and everything. I see this already knowing my housing isn’t great, then after watching more now I see that most of my island is wasted space, poorly optimized, or is inaccessible. I have a huge lake area up some stairs and there isn’t enough room for furniture around that... Heck my housing has an incline that isn’t even really needed. I’m going to have three sections to my island, I have figured an idea where the area you enter the island will be where the shops and other buildings will be. The second section is a suburban area, you enter through a bridge and then that’s where my and residents houses will be. Then the last section will be a garden. You can enter the garden from the suburbs and the town. I’m almost sure my idea will change but those are the plans for the future. 🙂

Tons of hard work i imagine 😭 and having lots of connections w friends and/or people on forums/discord group for shopping on their islands, catalog trading, swapping duplicate diy recipes... and also just being crazy thorough in getting every possible diy recipe from balloons villagers bottles etc, furniture from villagers and balloons and shaking trees (each nook miles island you visit should have 1 furniture item in the trees except for special cases so if you do multiple per day you can find some good furniture)... but ya mostly hard work making sure to cover every base every day and lotssss of connecting with other players!

People making time travelling comments are getting ridiculous now - I haven't time traveled at all, started the game 2 days after it came out and have paid my debts, got a 5 star island, lily of the valley and almost finished furnishing most parts of my island! It depends on how you play - also I have loved the discord group and enjoyed trading with players across the globe and gaining inspiration from all of them! And don't worry if your island isn't ish yet - the fun thing is looking at all those who have gone ahead and take their ideas and make them your own~

The amount of patience in all that outdoor decoratiiiing ☆_____☆ maybe someday therell be a feature to unlock where you can place things the way you do in houses and until then omfgggg placing stuff outdoors and rotating it and pushing it around takes forever so seeing people make islands like this is crazyyy bc wow just the perfection of all that placement

@Strange things are happening to Woody from the way i see it there was just a whole lot going on like if i wanted to quickly traverse my island and it was styled the same way as this one i feel like id be running into furniture/other obstructions just trying get to where im going it doesnt seem practical to me feels like too much of a good thing overall (wont deny the hard work and creativity put into making this though)

The amount of time that goes into these islands are truly next level. I liked the idea of stalls and stuff in front of the orchard like how you see them when you pay for the bucket and go on through to collect your fruit and just that alone has taken me hours. I want to start to make my island look better but I haven't the faintest clue how to start or what to do or where to go if I could borrow them for a day and have them analyze my map and give me a picture basically like work with them and say lets lay it out like this there would be a crumb of hope for my island but as it is there is none of that.
