Same, even I don't think that IIT is my only option, not even considering it as the best option. But, I am preparing for JEE Advanced, the only reason is.. it's the toughest one out there. And, preparing for the toughest one will be a worthy experience. Even if I ruined my 11 or maybe I will not able to crack JEE, but.. that will be worth. If I pass, it's great and, if I didn't, that failure will motivate me to do my best for rest of my life, as I never had that type of failure, tbh. I will surely give this one my best. And, If I ever had a choice between any fancy University and my favourite field, I will happily choose my field. All the Best To you, in your stuff!
