Work Experience at Steele Raymond

When deciding to pursue a career in law, gaining experience within a professional legal environment can help to prepare you for life as a qualified solicitor.
At Steele Raymond, we are committed to the development of legal talent, exemplified by the number of our lawyers who started their careers with the firm as trainees or even placement students and have since progressed to become associates, senior associates and partners at the firm.
Iona Murton, who has ambitions to become a family lawyer, recently completed a work experience placement at the firm. Over the course of her time with us, Iona had the opportunity to gain first-hand legal experience working within our leading Family and Residential Property teams.
We caught up with Iona at the end of her week with us to find out how it went and to hear her thoughts on her time with the firm.
