I really appreciate what you said about feeling insecure. I’m an undergraduate in Aerospace Engineering Technology. I’m 26 and decided to go back to school in 2019. So I am very beginner in what I know and my education level. My faculty advisor recommended I get involved with this Satellite launch project he is working on. I ignored the opportunity initially because I felt unqualified to help. My advisor reiterated how important opportunities like this are for my résumé, and for future jobs. I had to lean into the fact that if my Professor thinks I can help, then clearly I can. It’s nice to be reminded that it is normal to feel insecure but important to keep going!

Yes!! It was during community college actually! I fell in love with the research aspect while writing my undergraduate thesis
