Julia Fei, To protect your skin and kill any harmful bacteria that lingers in your makeup brushes, it's a good idea to wash your brushes every 7 to 10 days. Rinse the tips of your brushes under lukewarm, running water to remove residual makeup. I am not female or anything like that. I have a wife for 11 years. I just learned over the years by being with her to know some things. I do have some OCD and I do like things clean. Women can be very messy at some times with there makeup and not clean up after they do it. Not all do it, just most women can be. Women can be very clean outside doing there thing, but at home is different. I am not trying to be mean in my words. Just be mindful of your partner if you are dating and living together. And the thing my wife really loves about me is looking for great deal on women's products., besides being very clean. I like saving my wife money on things. And cleaning them once a week can save you allot of money on getting new ones. You can have it longer. Women spend allot on it, why not be smart to keep it longer.
