I do the exact same thing with Outlook calendar and blocking time, this is such a game changer 🙂 It is very interesting to hear about your promotion and development. I think the transition year is a great opportunity to learn the processes and leadership skills at your own pace and in a relatively safe environment. I wish I had a similar approach in my workplace - here it's the opposite, the moment you become a manager you have to jump into all the leadership tasks without prior training and this leads to people burning out super easily. I wfh 100% of the time and I’m obsessed with making crispy chicken wraps for lunch. I also like having either a Greek yogurt bowl or overnight oats for breakfast. I’m not a big breakfast eater and I don’t eat breakfast until like, 10a.

You ran how many miles?? That’s amazing! You got me into running again but I’m still working on building my endurance up. Right now I’m running 30-40 minutes without stopping. What do you use to track your miles?

Half marathon training at the end since it’s this weekend 💖 and I use strava and my Apple Watch! Yessss building endurance means keeping that heart rate LOW! I tell myself long jogs make the most progress long term

Yes, I kinda give myself a 15 min “stare into the abyss” session to recoup. Block a little 15 min break for it. It helps too and otherwise someone will throw another meeting on your calendar.
