Glad you like it brother! One reason we didn't include the jimping on the Bohler K340 version of the Ares is due to the difficulty of milling the K340. It's extremely tough steel, so we opted out of the jimping for that factor. The Bohler K329 however has several other upgrades including a larger grind bevel amongst many other minor tweaks and improvements. You should find it to be an absolute beast of a chopper while still retaining the infamous durability the Ares is known for. Thank you again for your purchase and I hope you enjoy it! That splatter pattern turned out absolutely gorgeous! 😁🤘

how does the k329 hold up against the sk85 steel been wondering the strength difference JOE X destruction style?

Hey buddy, thanks for checking out the video, unfortunately I have no way of knowing the strength of the steel, as I've not used them much. I'm sure there are others on KZbin who can give you more information on these knives. Respect from Melbourne take care = )

Awesome knife! Mine delivered yesterday, and boy it is one mighty Choppa. I went with the no choil version, but other than that we have the same cool spalted finish and same camo handle.
