How do you get through the heel issue without blisters?

@@rl6771 I honestly haven’t had any major issues with these boots chafing. Maybe when I first got them during break in but these are super comfy. The only issues I’ve had are that the tread compound is extremely slippery on ice/snow compared to any other shoes/boots I wear. I basically cant wear these in winter. Hoping the new compound they put on is better or perhaps they will change it to something better suited for winter!

@@TopNotchPropertyServiceLLCThanks for your input. I contacted them earlier in the year and they told me that for some people the 10" boots break in the wrong way because of the shape of our leg and foot. They gave me a 30% discount code but that's honestly not what I was hoping for. I think I'll buy boots from another company soon, it's just really disappointing to have to do that. Maybe I'll try soaking them in oil or water to get them as soft as possible, it's unimaginable how uncomfortable they are. I've actually worn $30 boots that are more comfortable. If you have any tips on anything that might help then I'm all ears

@@rl6771 you’re welcome, thanks for engaging on the video! I would say if you’re certain the size is correct then maybe try a different model of Danners? Also check the forums and post your concern there as others may have found a solution. Do you have same Fort lewis boots as mine? I remember back when I bought these in like 2018, i had to send them back and order a larger size. They run narrow to hug our feet though. Hope this helps. You certainly shouldn’t be in pain. Hope you find a solution or a pair that works for you!

@@pob12317 Yeah darn tough socks are good. Any kind of thick, quality wool is good for this honestly. But this is off topic from my comment chain. With respect, make your own comment next time. I'm still looking for a solution for my problem with these darn boots.
