I can't believe the amount of 'stuff' in that truck. I've got one 18" bucket. Two Wagtails - an 18 & a 14. A fluffy (or as some dear souls call them, a scrubber). Two cloths. A four inch scraper. One pole. That's it! And I only put about an inch and half of water in the bucket.

@palmerprofessionalservices85567 жыл бұрын
No I just bought that organizer just as it is and bought some velcro and stuck it to the side of my vehicle. Works really good. That Husky organizer has a hard backing to it already.

Good video. How does the Razr red compare to Wagtail rubber?
@palmerprofessionalservices85568 жыл бұрын
To tell you the truth I haven't used the wagtail rubber for a long period of time so its hard to compare. I personally am starting to like the Razr red better. I use my Unger hard rubber on the really hot days.
@jrcimini8 жыл бұрын
Thanks, I notice you have both so I thought you might know. I'll end up buying a roll of wagtail on my next purchase.

Palmer Professional Services Hard rubber on hot days. Never thought of that. I can see it the benefit in that. Your very prepared. More than me. I'm a mess.lol
@MarcusWindowCleaningWagologist7 жыл бұрын
Palmer Professional Services As I approach more residentail I'll need that screen thing.I had a few houses where the screen was cleaned so much it almost dissolved around the edges as I was cheating it.
@palmerprofessionalservices85567 жыл бұрын
Marcus Window Cleaning Yup! it gets pretty warm here in Arizona. I need the hard rubber on the warm days. you can really tell a difference. you know that slight bit of haze/water that's left behind for a couple seconds after you squeegee the glass. when its real hot and I try using soft rubber on the hot glass. it doesn't glide at all haha and there's a lot of water left behind after I squeegee. That's why I mainly use Unger Hard Rubber. But I can get away with the facelift Rzr Red in the winter.

Jordan tell me more about your Little Giant. I'm trying to decide which size ladder to get just starting out and don't want to waste money. Does it reach 2nd story windows? Is this the only ladder you use for residential work? Any second thoughts- Would a Little Giant 17' do just as well? Thanks!
@palmerprofessionalservices85567 жыл бұрын
I have really been happy with my purchase. My little Giant does second story windows no problem. It fits in my vehicle and is super sturdy. I always feel safe on it. I purchased the little Giant "Stand off" and that makes cleaning 2nd story windows a lot easier cause you're not so close to the building.

How much do you charge for screen replacement?
@palmerprofessionalservices85567 жыл бұрын
For the screen mesh replacement I charge around $15-$20. Check and see what your hardware stores charge that do screen replacement. I see some people charge a lot more but for now since I just started out Its a good price point. I replace the screens that need to be replaced at probably every other house that I clean. So it ends up being about $50 extra profit on each job. With all the direct sun her in Arizona, they have to be replaced every couple years.

You just need to get a business license but first you need to go get your DBA Doing Business As which is your business name. Go to your local court house and ask them where to go to get it.

Why do you record millage for your own personal vehicle ? if all you need to do is save gas receipts
@windowcleaningdude75106 жыл бұрын
If you get audited by the IRS they want to see a record of milage to know how much of your vehicle was used for business and how much for personal use to determine your milage deduction!
