everyone i know that does corporate jobs brings a bag to work so they can change clothes and they go workout straight after work! then they go home and shower/eat/decompress! Maybe switch your walk and workout. walk in the morning workout in the evening? Maybe that will help with your emotions hitting after work as well!

the "feeling like you have no time" burnout is so real. I personally cant live alone because of it (and my health). The biggest thing that helps me in that state is trying to get back to basics. Look at my life/hobbies and reorganize priority of each. i.e gym on W/F, T/Th hobby, etc

You talking about getting that book for your mom to write is such a cute idea! Since I was a kid I collected my dad's stories (he was sort of a local celebrity and had a super intresting life!) and I really want to publish his story one day! Next week it marks another year since he died, and I miss him every single day, he was just the most amazing guy ever, gone too soon! But as Taylor says: "What died didn't stay dead, you're alive, so alive" - and yes, I put his picture on my phone during Marjorie at The Eras Tour because that song describes so well the feeling of losing a loved one and missing them every single day. He is always with me and I feel him all around, always. Hugs x

I have a job where I need to leave my house everyday and I constantly feel like there’s no time for anything left. Like when I get home in the afternoon/evening I get ready for the next day, shower and go to bed. It’s not that dramatic, I do have some time for myself left, but it feels like I don’t have time to do anything else. E.g. getting a doctors appointment is really hard since working a real job 🙈

My mom and I carpool so we go straight from work to the gym twice a week. That works for us because we work out by ourselves and not in a workout class. If there’s a workout class after work that you’re interested in, I would suggest trying that. Or, if you’re comfortable you could shower and get changed at the workout place and go straight to work from there. My mom did that for years.

I work 9-5 hybrid and I am a mom so we have quite different lifestyles. When I work out it is always after work. I have gym card which allows me to take part in any classes I want or to enter any gym of the network. So when I am at an office I look for some classes at the gym close or at the gym which is on my way home. When I work from home the case is much easier. Time batching works for me best in this case.

Hi! When I was in office it was impossible to workout before work since I had to be there by 8am. I tried a few 6am classes, but those stressed me out the most lol. I ended up trying the 5:30pm class which was a game changer, I would pack my workout clothes the night before and bring them with me to work. This saved me time since I was able to go to class right after I got off ( instead of going home in between) and was done with class by 6:30pm. Hope this helps 😊 Edit: I also got a hatch alarm that does the slow sunrise thing lol

@sarh23Ай бұрын
I tend to do longer workouts on the weekend, and then during the week I usually do some kind of exercise every evening right before my bedtime routine starts. Some weeks all i have the energy for is walking for 15 mins every work day evening and one short run on the weekend. other weeks I actually get three or four proper workouts in on the weekdays as well as 3 separate things on the weekend, like where one day I'll do two things like yoga and a run, or pilates and spin. My rule is to at least do something for 15 minutes, and to accept that working 9 to 5 really drains me sometimes so sometimes thats all I can do. Adding it into the start of my nightime routine really helped because its become a habit, just like how I think "wash face, brush teeth" before bed, i now also think about at keast doing some yoga. Ive also found that waking up at the same time every single day really helps, i can't get up earlier one or two days a week, because my body never understands it needs to sleep earlier for those days Edit: also it sounds like youre having such a hard time 😢 please try to remember that even small things help

Recently i haven't been on the best sleep scudele. last night i didn't go to bed until 2:30 and i woke up at 8 for my college classes. It's been like that for the last 2 weeks. Because my course load this year is so big, I can't stop at 4pm like I did last year because I won't get everything done . So I work from 8am-11pm with 2ish hours for lunch and dinner.
