Workers Comp Hearing

Hello everyone, I too am dealing with workers comp issues. I pray that God will make everything alright. There is a scripture that says, ”All things work together for the good of them who loves the Lord!” God said: Ask and it shall be given. As I encourage you all I am encouraging myself. This too shall pass! God, we say thank you in advance for working things out in our favor. ”Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight oh Lord, you are my strength and my Redeemer, in Jesus’ name I pray...Amen! That's right. Theres also a scripture that says, Trust no nobels for the wither up and die just like you do. So i have no trust in anyone therefor i dont vote for anyone. They don't care about me or you nor did they stand by me when i was close to dieing.

Once upon a time. I was on my high horse looking down at people on workers comp....strange how fate has a way of knocking us off! Worked 40 years, ended up injured. 2 years and it is still going on...mediation has been rescheduled so many times I have lost track ( always either because of the employer or insurance company) workers comp needs to be changed, but it needs to be changed in order to help the injured workers...NOT insurance companies or heartless employers!

I've been back to work for quite a few years I'm still on comp but still will not settle still will not pay my doctor bills I work 60 to 70 hours a week I just can't get off the s***

The system is completely botched, insurance companies and workers comp Dr's are in bed together. They hope to starve you out or hopefully you just go away.

Workers comp is for the EMPLOYER not the EMPLOYEE..this definitely needs to change

In California thank Jerry brown and Arnold swartznegger. They gave all The power to the comp system . Now the injured people that get hurt on the job are in for a battle . I got hurt on the job through no fault of my own and it’s a tuff battle !

Sadly these stories are so common across the U. S. Canada and many other countries. This is why we all MUST raise awareness of #WorkersCompIsARight and make it a Global campaign for all injured workers!

My son was hurt after an another employee was driving the trash truck and talking on his cell phone and he smashed my son between the truck and a telephone pole. My son was hurt and he has been receiving WC payments. It has been 6 years and he continues to be denied his medical care in a reasonable amount of time. He is denied for procedures and then we have to appeal that decision which takes so much time and there are only certain doctor's that can see him. I am a nurse and I have reviewed his file because it's online. All of his diagnosis were not significant so I went to the doctor with him and asked if he read his file. He responded no. I went to the doctor with him for his recent Medical evaluation for the BWC and the doctor said he read some of his file but not all of it. What is with these people. If they would have been more aggressive with treatment my son probably would have been back to work a longtime ago. At the hearing with BWC the person said to him don't you think you need to go back to work you are young. We were informed by the Lawyer not to say anything but it took everything I had to not run my mouth for that man degrading my son. He is sick and they drag their feet. They spend more money taking their time and trying for the worker's to give up. Something needs to be done

Oh wow!! This was posted in 2012 and we are now in 3019, nothing has changed. This is crazy! People who are seriously injured should be able to sue the company for proper medical care Abe be able to be seen by a Dr. the injured worker wants to see. There has to be something we can do. People should get together to be able to sign a petition so the law can change. All together, We can make a difference

The doctors are not reading the MRI they request...the tech is reading them-because my computer wasn't working I asked a couple months later to see my MRI and the Doctor had to finally download it to his computer file to allow me to read it. Being single...I wasn't allowed to do what I normally did... I was forced to take from my retirement to keep my home and survive. I gave so much to this job. The company and the system are in need if repair. The system is ridiculous! 2-4-2017

Karen Stevens Boykin I had a work injury and broke a couple bones in my knee ,the doctor work comp,had me off work for month's then decides surgery then after surgery I have a M R I and I tell the technician what was done ,then after the M R I the technician asked when are they gonna perform the injection and I said they did ,hmm good doctor.

The insurance companies are a joke ,the judges no all of this!!! This is all about $$$$they should all be ashamed of this system.Lakawanna insurance company should be investigated .To anyone who is hurt at work ,this is a no joke battle and you better be prepared for it I would say you better have 10k in the bank to hold on because you wont get a benefits check from the insurance company for a long time!!!

I was in a trash truck crash in Pennsylvania. I was hanging on the back. We lost our breaks and the truck went on a runaway down a hill. We hit a tree and i was thrown. I ended up in the hospital for a month. In critical conditions, i went through alot of surgeries. My employer should have made sure those breaks were fixt. Workmans comp wasn't responsible, the company was. I got shit money out of it otherwise I was going for one point five million. When my lawyer told me it was against the law to sue your employer for negligence in the state of Pennsylvania, i almost fell of my chair. There aint no lawyer anywhere who i can trust and i know how the state feels about you as a worker. And they want me to vote? For who? I'll never vote again for no man. Today, im struggling with the little bit of money i get in disability. Screw you pa. Oh yeah, my driver died in the crash......

Here in Washington they changed the law so that hospitals, doctors and companies that close more claims and deny the most benefits share in a percentage of the savings state wide, basically a kick back scheme for saving the state and companies money, we are on of the states that employees do contribute to paying the L&I premiums, to top it off if you become disabled they passed a law limiting how much you can get between L&I and social security, do you think we get a refund for paying in 100 percent to both programs and then after years of paying they tell you if you where injured after such and such date you are capped as to a percentage of what you should get , totally bull crap

In Canada we are supposed to have Universal Health Care for ALL; The system is paid out of taxes, which we contribute our whole working life; However, after suffering a workplace injury, Canada discriminate's injured workers from receiving Universal Health-care, and places the injured worker under the thumb of Workers Comp Act. This allows non-medical insurance adjusters to deny doctors requests for investigation of workplace injuries. Workers Comp employees can deny ortho / neurosurgeons requests for funds to perform surgery for workplace injuries; The Whole system is Corrupt, as Comp operates with a "Culture of Denial" - "Cost Containment" at the expense of injured workers and their families;

Now I am trying to get a lawyer to sue My work and to sue my boss STILL FROM WHAT I SEE people are trying to sue workers comp that what all lawyers ask is this a workers comp case?
