Workers & Resources Soviet Republic Playalong Tutorial - Ep05 - Firing it Up!

Episode 05 is the culmination of our construction in the last two episodes. We'll buy vehicles to bring workers to our new buildings, and transport water, sewage, and waste to meet the needs of those workers.
Then we'll start importing hazardous waste and burning it in our incinerator for profit!
Note that between epsiode 04 and 05, you'll need to run the game for a while to complete construction on the buildings we need to set up.

About the series
Workers & Resources Soviet Republic is a complicated game and can be hard to get into for beginners.
This series aims to tackle that by providing a tutorial you can play along with by downloading the same savegame I'll be playing on, and following the videos in your own copy of the game.
The videos themselves will be a step-by-step guide to everything needed to play the game on the hardest difficulty, from initial construction setup, building your starter city, and eventually exploring all mechanics and logistics methods in the game and achieving self-sufficiency for your republic.

nice tutorials to follow along, I'm playing on realistic after 2 failed attempts 😀 Thing about garbage I learned from other videos that it can be nice to setup central sorting place with road cargo station which connects to transfer containers, you can make up to 4 factory connections. When you research needed waste technologies then you can seperate containers into plastic, metal scrap, etc. This way you have kinda buffer before that waste is taken to your main waste processing facilities. Oh and hazardous waste in containers doesn't produce pollution, which is a win-win situation

Yep I'm planning something similar for a future episode with the container transfers! Once DOs are researched for the pickup. Although I would say just 2 linked together is plenty for almost any city, one for dropoff and one for pickup. Glad you're enjoying and third time lucky!

Can you start with the power generator incinerator. Make even more small cash ftom your eco violation rouge state. Do you have to research, or just too much up front cost.

Yeah those require research! They're also not very useful unless you use priority switches which is a bit complex for the very start of the tutorial, or a spare border connection or the tech to build your own.
