Can I align an stl from the patients mouth? This is just a 2d smile design not as usefull

The answer is no. This app use 2D photo to have a consultation and yet you can still send the new teeth's length info to your laboratory for fabrication. Most of the DSD tools are based on 2D photos and lot of doctors utilize it as a good consultation tool. More than you think. If those tools do not meet your demand, then you can always use the 3D based DSD tools, one that you can find in the market.
