Omg, I had Working Out Teresa, and she was the BEST gift I ever got as a kid. She never left my side. Even when I visited my grandparents, I would hide her in my jacket and play with her at night.

These were such pretty dolls. I had Barbie , and I’m 💯% positive mine had saran hair because I always hated kanekalon and I loved brushing her buttery soft ponytail.

i still listen to cassette tapes, but not as often as i did 10 years ago. i think the last time that i listened to music on cassette was maybe four years ago.

I like to watch A Thousand Splendid dolls here on youtube and she's always said that dolls out of box hold up better than in box dolls. And our little "surprise droppings" Barbie proves it. That sucks hopefully that doesn't happen again if you get vintage Barbies in the future.

The best thing to rewind your cassette tape with is a crayon. A regular crayola-type crayon works perfectly.

this was a beautiful journey 😄 i took my workout barbie today from my parents' houe to fix her up, she was my favourite barbie growing up, my dream. i remember being over the moon to find it in my country, i reeeeally wanted Teresa though :)) for pretty much the same reasons as you!

I had this Barbie as a little girl and I remember her vividly! I had the pink one… I’m a new subscriber :) I love your positivity and cheerfulness… and the dolls of course! I believe there is another Barbie that has this kind of articulation and a obnoxiously bright pink outfit that came out a few years earlier, but I think it was either a roller skating Barbie or a gymnast Barbie or just a gym barbie without the suction cups. Not a hundred percent sure about that though.

For me I normally would prefer blue eyed blonde dolls but I also liked the barbies with the white iris but I wonder if Mattel has every made a doll with blonde hair and green eyes I think it would actually look quite beautiful (Base Barbie line Disney is not included)

Just boil the head in a pot of water for a good 10-20 minutes, and the head should form back well. As for the broken arm, if the holes are still intact, just stick in a piece of wire, trim the ends with pliers, and apply dots of plastic fusion glue on either end. But only do this if you haven't re-bodied her! Other than that, love your videos!

I find it interesting how you were always drawn to the brunette dolls. For Barbies, and dolls in general, I always favored the dolls with black hair and fairer skin as a kid because I have very dark brown hair IRL that was often mistaken for black when I was a kid. I also favored the occasional redhead, but the black haired dolls were always the favorites. I also made all my fictional video game avatars like that as well (long jet black hair and fair skin) and it was never just a goth thing for me, even though I do love wearing strictly black clothing IRL. To this day, I still love it when doll companies and video games give dolls and video game characters fair skintones and very dark hair (comfort characters of mine that fall under this description for me include the Storm Twins from Shadow High and Tharja from Fire Emblem Awakening).

I was thinking about this the other day, and I think it boils down to two reasons. 1, the doll market was so saturated with blonde hair blue eyes that I liked the other options more because they were less common, and it was kind of a breath of fresh air. Don't get me wrong, I still love my blond dolls, but I think the other options were more interesting... The other reason why is because at the time I was really getting into video games, and the first Tomb Raider game had just come out and I would watch my aunt play it. I quickly became obsessed with the game for multiple reasons, but I love the Lara Croft with her long ponytail, and she was a brunette. And I always thought that she was bad @$$! So because of Tomb Raider I always chose characters in other games, and favoured dolls that looked like Lara Croft.
