I feel like I've been friends with yall from the start when watching even though I've never met any of you. The quality of your work shows more than the amazing scenes... it also shows your heart to push through, the love for each other, the respect for each country and the simplicity of what it takes to travel on a budget just as long as one does their own research. You all are a major reason that I motivate myself to travel and constantly sell the same idea to my friends and to my customers when I go to work bartending. Hi Budgeteers, what a beautiful journey you have taken me down. I watched all of your shows and I am mightily impressed. I went to old Ceylon 40 years ago as a young child with my Father to his birthplace in Galle and swam in the beautiful sea and saw so many great beaches. My Father was connected and it was like Ernest Hemingway with all espionage and dodgy dealings at High Commissioner level. It is more developed now but nature does not change - guys, the sea and the sand will always be and the sun and the sky will always be as is all over the world. Thank you guys. Really appreciated !!

This was my favourite episode this series. Loved how you showed reality of working and travelling at the same time, and the reality of making travel vlogs / series. There's a lot of work behind that many viewers don't know. When we edited our series from home, or when we rented places in Thailand long term we also did voice overs and map animations, but since we move around a lot more now we felt we had to change our videos from series to vlogs and skip the voice overs. Sometimes we feel like we miss it, it added so much more feeling to the videos (like yours do) and the map animations really make you feel like your travelling with you guys, and our viewers used to say that about our map animations too. We just don't have time anymore and as I am the only one editing (Alex has to earn the money) it gets a bit overwhelming. Loved the very emotional ending and that you mentioned that those 10 days of renting that place, editing and hanging out with other travellers being a very important part of making this series. Being full-time travellers we sometimes find that we need to stop and just hang out in a hostel with other travellers for a week, not film and just relax and not be the Timezone Junkies. Can totally relate. Well done on series 4. / Malin 😘🙏

I spent 3 weeks backpacking Sri Lanka before Christmas, alone because something had gone wrong with my friend's visa application. Whenever I felt lonely and overwhelmed I'd watch these videos. Now I'm seriously considering taking the plunge and returning - alone - for a longer period!
