Hey, nice video! On UE5, I can´t see the Collab Viewer on ADD+ Add Feature or Content Pack. There is another easy way like this?

Hey Daryl thanks for a great webinar looks a great tool. Can you both hear sound from a level at runtime from each HUD perspective? Can u essentially just use PIE mode together? If you can both hear what’s happening spatially collaboratively then I am VERY interested in this product. My concern would if it adds a second listener to the project with two HUDs?? Any advice on this greatly appreciated

9:24 Add content to pack Collab Viewer missing in 4.26 thanks! I know can migrate but would be nice to have that back in there.

still missing in 5.1 also. What a bummer.

How do you load your different headsets? What sort of prep is required to get those headsets setup, besides just clicking that VR button?

Hello, i plan to add rotation function to the object interact by the player, using mouse wheel which in the template currently, is used to push and pull the object . How can I do that?

Hi guys, nedless to say that this video has been more than helpfull for my projects. Is there a chance to explain how to generate evnts on the actors that lasers touch by pressing the trigger button in VR mode?.. I will appreciate your reply.

Hi Daryl, this looks amazing! Unfortunately our clients might be unwilling to regularly install large EXE packages on their systems simply to discuss a design update. Could the template be easily adapted to work via some sort of HTML5 / web-based viewer instead? Or alternatively, could it be adapted so they only have to install the 'viewer' EXE once, and could then load in different projects via a file dialogue? How simple would either of these options be to implement?
@darylobert4 жыл бұрын
Sorry, this is just a .exe With that said, you have lots of 3rd party options put a .exe on the cloud.

Is this considered a legacy feature? Not finding the option to add it with the "Content Browser" > "Add" > "Add Feature or Content Pack" as if it's discontinued or something?

Hi, Daryl. what a life saver, appreciate your amazing demonstration. How can I use it within the Unreal VR Template, though? I'm building a VR simulation using VR template. I mainly need Exploded Animation and XRay! Is there any way to incorporate them into the VR template?

Does the template work also with touchscreen ?

Thank you for your great tutorial. I wonder if it is possible to get some attribute of objects when they are selected in Xray mode. For example, material and dimension of doors?

Sure you could build up something to grab metadata with Blueprints.

Hi thank for sharing this webinar looking great collaborative Concept Is this completely RTX?? where because you showed moving objects in runtime. And I think it is possible after build too, Yes right??
@darylobert4 жыл бұрын
No RTX in this demo, its all Raster. With a little love and attention to the details you can get amazing results in Unreal. This one needed to run in VR and hit 90FPS. I had a lot of fun setting it up, happy you thought it was RTX:-)

@@darylobert Thanks daryl for your information I am big fan of your lighting in unreal and followed your youtube videos too. May I know some link to go though Raster for learning & achieving the lighting like you shown in this video I am planning to buy RTX, now I have only 1050ti with i7 6700k with 16 gb ram I know it will take more time to achieve your lighting with my system spec, but i need some raster lighting input daryl Thanks again

Thank you for the video Daryl, it was amazing that i can learn a lot from this video. However, I have wondered when you use any of your projects such as using datasmith to import 3d model to a collab viewer, is there anyway to eliminate the main menu? I am wondering i can remove the login session, and run the project itself so that user does not need to login to unreal server session. I have ran through all the stuffs that i can think of, but i cannot make it.
@darylobert2 жыл бұрын
There is a stand alone option already set up in the project. You could change a bit around in the project to jump right into the level with that option and skip the logging in.

@@VladimirOnOccasion That's a bummer. Seems like it's not too far off from what's being shown here. Also, I thought I saw "Unreal Online Services" being marketed a while ago as an easy multiplayer solution. And I guess we're stuck with GitHub, which is terrible for UE4 teams and educating.

Yo, I'm about to get a Pc to give ue4 a try. Can anyone tell me if these specs are enough to run ue4 and start creating stuff: Intel core i5 9. Generation Nvidia gtx 1650 Super 4gb 1tb hdd - 240gb ssd - 8gb ddr4 ram I was gonna get an rtx but they expensive so i think a gtx 1650 super is also dope right? Tnx ✌😁

I'm running UE4 on the i5, 8gb of ram Surface Pro 6. I'm still in the learning process this is fine for that. I also have a desktop with a RTX 2080 Super, for when things get too taxing and require more cpu and gpu intensive jobs. But for now, this works well for me.
@yasaipicles62954 жыл бұрын
I'd go with an AMD CPU. They come with a fan as well as good performance. Might be able to get a better GPU this way. You need a good GPU for stuff like uber and other apps
