Working DX on 10m Repeaters

As band conditions continue to improve, 10m is becoming more open and activity can be found further up the band away from the FT8 frequency. Go further still beyond the SSB frequencies and you'll find yourself up in the FM portion of the band at 29MHz, where FM repeaters from around the globe can be found with outputs between 29.620 - 29.690MHz (RH1 - RH8), with inputs 100KHz lower at 29.520 - 29.590MHz (RSGB band plan). This is a short video of some clips of me working the KQ2H repeater located in the Catsgill Mountains in New York State.
As with all repeaters, mobile stations should be given priority.

After that weekend there were quite a few in the week Chris. The Ontario Canada one was strong on 29.640. Surprised a chap who was in his garden on a handheld 😁
