Ken Warfe and Grant Harrold are my conceptions of the 'as perfect as possible' incorruptible English man whom one can always count on. As for Burrell, this one was the example of the 'Holier than though' class clown, perfect to entertain the young children, but I would never count on him for honesty at a very deep level. This was a most educative and captivating podcast. Thank you so much for making this available to the public!

I agree with this former bodyguard. The protection of Princess Diana under the Al Fayad's was a bit lax. Their security protocols for the Princess did not meet the vigorous standards of the royal family. The driver of that Ill fated car would never have been allowed to take the wheels. To see Diana again like this makes me very sad. She was such a beautiful person and looking at her now , I still miss her. I bet Catherine and Diana would have got on very well. But there it is, we cannot change the past, wishing that we could at times. If only she hadn’t met Fayed, yes we could go on with the what if’s. Thank you for this movie. This is really needed right now, especially in the midst of the mess and pain that Harry and his wife have caused. It's normal for divorced couples, exes and even enemies to be polite and civilised, as they continue to interact in upper class society.

@@Seth-gd4mz So, Charles has more than one mistress, his mistress Kanda mysteriously "fell" out a window when she refused to stop talking about their affair. Charles brought Camilla into the family home. One of their butlers (before Paul Burrell) was being interviewed and he said, "I was so nervous when I went to the home of Prince Charles; but, he introduced me to Mrs. Parker Bowles, then Diana then the boys, they were five and three". My first thought was "What was the mistress doing in the family home?" He just SHOVED his mistress down her throat. I’ve watched this and am really surprised that they used the clip,of Camilla and Charles “giggling”:at the indigenous throat singers in Canada. How could they NOT appreciate the importance of the colonializers respecting the Indigenous people their government representatives tried to genocide in Canada. Before anyone freaks out and says that isn’t true, Canadian schools and Universities are teaching the true history of the Indigenous people and Europeans and yes, it is taught that that the indigenous people traditions, lives and beliefs were to be extinguished, and that is genocide.

So, this was 35 years ago and Camilla was there! She had NO BUSINESS there, Diana and the children were there and Charles had his MISTRESS thete too. He was SHOVING Camilla up Diana's nose. Camilla would fight like a wildcat today of he tried shoving another woman up her nose. Charles had a selfish, cruel 'I'll get my way and to hell with your feelings, Diana' attitude even back then. Lady Campbell has told her viewers he dropped Camilla; but, this tells a different story.

I was present during the Royal Visit to Canada when the traditional Inuit throat singing performance took place in front of Charles and Camilla. Their laughing was so rude and very much an insult to the Inuit, especially since they were horribly colonized in the name of one of his monarch ancestors. I’ve been anti-monarchy ever since. The sooner we become a republic and cast of that disgusting lot the better.

Well if you had done your research you would know the reason why the ambulance was taking so slow is beacuse her pulmonary vein was torn meaning her blood pressure was extemely low, when your BP iis extremely low the slightest acceleartion can cause you to bleed out instantly, which is hy the ambulance was taking so slow. And you said they should have taken her to the the nearest hospital well. the hospitals they passed by were not for people who had experienced extreme trauma they were more like clinics and the hospital which was best for treating CHEST TRAUMA which is what Diana had, was the hospital they went to. THERE WAS NO CONSPIRASY TO MURDER DIANA

With regard to the Butler, what sort of mentality drives the ambition or desire to be totally subservient to another human being. Complete and total acceptance and acknowledgment of inferiority is hardly something to be proud of as an achievement. Rather like a dog would roll on its back with its legs in the air as a demonstration of submission to its master. Pathetic.

@@2468HOTROD Metaphorically speaking he is like a dog. Because much like a dog a domestic servant obeys the directions of the household master with slavish attentiveness. But at least with a dogs very limited intelligence that obedience comes from an instinctive devotion and its own interpretation of a love for its master. A servant is much worse, because despite having been gifted an intelligence he or she consciously chooses to serve in a position of subservient obedience to another human being for little more than a monetary reward. Despite this fact, our butler here still projects an air of respectability and aloofness to his position of servility. I suspect that hanging on the coat tails of his ‘Royal’ masters for so long has given him the delusion that his job was to be envied or in some way prestigious, when in reality within the aristocratic household pecking order he wasn’t even at the bottom of the barrel, he was underneath it.
