I walked into a job interview and the front desk personnel literally warned me against working for that principal, and this was in front of the other people in the office. I ended up taking her advice and not taking the job.

It was a teaching job. That principal helped me get my state certification but because of her personality, I was concerned about agreeing to work for her because she seemed kind of intense so I took a hard pass. I also didn’t know what my salary would be since it was controlled by the state. I had another job at the time anyway so maybe it could have been better, maybe not. My current job doesn’t have the best salary but my principal is wonderful.

This is so true for customer service as well. My manager literally does everything in the bakery while being on-site for over 8 hours a day and still doing work off the clock. While I'm barely keeping it together with my 40 hr/week schedule
