Hello dear , see for preparing general knowledge subject there can’t be a single book you have to clear the basic of history geography civics first and then also study the current affairs . The more you study the subjects the more you can score . My advice to you is to start from 8 th class NCERT book and study social studies and science subject . Later study higher level books like Lucent to have deeper knowledge and also read English newspaper to be in touch with the current news and also it will help you in English. Hope this gives you a little bit of idea how to start . ☺️

Hello dear , FCI AG-3 tech and bank AFO are totally different jobs , bank has better salary but work pressure is also there , FCI has also work pressure in depots and in different seasons so it's better if you understand the work profile well before making your mind . If you are enjoying the work then I think both the jobs are good it just depends what type of work you want to perform and what your priorities are . I hope this helps you. 😊

Firstly you will get your appointment letter in which your place of posting will be mentioned clearly. Even if you take the extension the place of posting will not be changed . And if you have confidence and you can sit at home for a few days you can resign early or can serve only 15 days notice and pay the salary of the remaining 15 days whatever suits you . Think well before making any decision. Do what you find is most suitable for you . Hope this helps you.

Hello dear , this is a difficult thing to answer as it all depends on the place of posting. In the office the timings are fixed and work pressure is also not that much but in depot pressure can be there but also if there is a lot of work in the procuring region there is much more work in FCI but in consuming it is less but... overall i believe the work is manageable in comparison to the private sector. Hello dear , First the recruitment comes once every 2-3 years . Last time it was in 2019 and after that it came in 2023 so...you can never know the exact upcoming recruitment. Second yes you can prepare for any other exam but only when you are posted in the office because in field work can be a little bit hectic but definitely one can manage it . Third there is an accelerated promotion scheme recently started in FCI you are eligible for that after 3 years of service and also if on seniority basis one can be promoted to manager in 10-15 years . Fourth there are no extra benefits of having higher qualifications . One will be recruited on the basis of exam only . Hope this helps you .

As there are various methods by which FCI conducts promotion schemes and appointments as manager like via direct recruitment, via APS (accelerated promotion scheme ) so in this scenario guessing the exact time period and saying which cadre has more possibility of promotion is difficult.
