For people who didn’t understand the coding question issue: Obviously no one asks easy questions like prime number but they also don’t ask any new questions. They are all just same and can be remembered 500-600 questions of Data Structures and Algorithms which have no logic to be checked if everyone is just remembering them. There are very few companies who look for projects also. I have cleared many coding interviews in India even for companies offering more than 20 lakhs per annum, so you can take my word on it. Also some exceptions of good companies and interviews are also in India. But i feel it’s my duty to showcase the faults of India’s coding environment where undue importance is given to coding questions rather than the candidate and his skills.

I think your right in some way but the point pattern is same for All companies they all have coding rounds the aptitute round some have then interview rounds I guess the same is in Japan but since there may be variantions is according to what type of job is and the company .

India is best for IT, job opportunities in India are tremendous! Also package is good wrt living standards

Have you even seen the packages offered in US or any other country? Also the work life balance in India is very bad. But in India you can get cheap jobs.

@@GetSaged Yeah Right, but I was talking with respect to Living standard... In USA you would live ok ok life even if you have 60 LPA because the cost of living is super high. So considering this even 10-15 LPA in India is enough considering the cost of living.

Even if you consider cost of living, the pay would be much better. Also very few companies are paying 15 LPA inhand, mostly pay less than 12 and just increase ctc in the name of extra things

@@Solelymine Company's preference order- experienced CS guy > experienced guy(any branch)> non experienced CS >non experienced ECE > non experienced (any branch) which is mass recruiting nearly 3,4 lpa But if someone is talented and have good skills then company then branch doesn't matters even degree.

Definitely Europe. If you want to work for a few years in japan then maybe you can but the work life is very tough there. You have to work long hours but the pay doesnt seem fair. Europe has way better work- life balance and overall lifestyle imo.

Try networking with fellow people on linkedin who are indiansand living in the country or who are recruiting for employees. You also have to be good at your work. Like, if u want the company to provide for ur visa you have to prove that you're worth it. Best of luck

He didn't. I think some non coding job he had. He knows basic coding only, like for loops, if else.. Still Japanese Tokyo University is better than all IITs, it constantly ranks better in ICPC, this year it was ranked 3. Indian IIT never been in top 10 IIRC Since there is shortage of workers in Japan, it's not as competitive as India in this field

Hey can I ask you if I should for ECE in a tier 2 college (dtu in the case) or CSE in a private university ..I am actually worried by the current scenario since CSE, IT are so much in demand whereas the core job for non tech streams are waning..and doing CSE from a private institute like Rvce or thapar will be better option for doing masters in cse from abroad
