I'll be honest, I love anything to do with vampires, Hades and Hekate. I do have this deck and I do adore the images. Actually one night, I put one of the cards under my pillow and I had this weird, scary nightmare which freaked me out and therefore have not used it over the past few months. looking back now, I probably need to do more shadow work with the deck. I also should read the book first. I always find when I buy decks, I don't always like to rely on books but rather use my own intuition. watching this vid has inspired me to take it up again :) xxx

Great video! This deck is really nice. Since you asked, I would like you to (pliz pliz pliz) show some readings examples with 2 and 3 cards, how you read it, how you see the cards talking to each other, some questions and answer, the sentence you make intuitively out of the combination. I think the punch line of tarot is cards combination, and I still struggle a little with this deck with that. Thanks a lot, your work is so kind and helpful! x

I’ve watched all of your videos about TOV…I just got mine finally! I waited a year into my tarot journey & I feel exactly what you were explaining…it feels like it really does belong in my hands & makes me happy. I’ve just been reading the book & haven’t even looked through the deck yet! Just a the majors. I have my kids home still die quarantine & get very little “mommy alone time” rn. I have 3 kids ages 22, 16, & 8. Yeah I said I wanna try to give myself an heart attack I think lol. But I’m taking my time & I am happy to…it’s here! It’s mine! I love it so much. I finally felt like I had enough signs that it was time…the last being my daughter visiting & telling me how she can’t stop drawing or painting red roses! And she showed me some of her practice sketches learning to drawn a realistic rise with the perfect red color. I thought of TOV immediately & sent her a pic of the section explaining the red rose symbolism. She loved it! She has a couple decks I gifted but none have really grabbed her. I’m going to have her look through mine & see what she thinks. I would be so happy if she loves it & works with it. She has been through a lot & I think it’s the perfect guide for her… I’m so happy that I can watch your videos again holding my love in my hands!!!! 🌹 it’s a feeling like going to the best concert ever to me.

I trimmed and edged mine, too. I put a silver backing on it but miss the backing it had. I only wish the deck was larger. I would love one large version as well as a small one. I really appreciate this series! I haven't deeply connected yet, but I think it may be in my future.

I would be so interested in a series like this as the TOV is one of my all time favorite decks and I never thought I'd say that. The book, the art, the symbolism! I totally edged mine in red also and can't imagine the deck being any other way now lol. I am glad I am not the only one who appreciates this deck and book set. Based upon the many overwhelmingly positive reviews on Amazon of this book/deck as well as your own, I went ahead and decided to order the TOV today. I'm really looking forward to receiving it, reading the book and checking in here for your upcoming videos about it. Just so happy you're starting this series! BTW...not sure if you already know and/or spoke about this before(?), but when I went on Amazon to find the deck, I saw that there is another highly praised book in there by this same author, Ian Daniels called How To Draw And Paint Vampires. It looks like he used many images from his Tarot deck in there as well. Needless to say, I couldn't resist adding that to my order... :)

You could superglue the backing of those pages back onto the spine of the book. I've done it before with a favorite book of mine, and it worked!

One of the top reasons to not buy a tarot deck is that all it seems to be is different artwork. Some of the best tarot decks to work with are those which need adjusted to, If a tarot deck wants to have a relationship with you, it is demon possessed. Reversals of Tarot cards are overblown and often misinterpreted as all inversions. The Tarot of Vampyres by Ian Daniels, like any tarot can be seen as of the shadow in any or all of its cards. The shadow does not have to be all evil and so-called untruth, but it can become it.

I hear/read somewhere that the court cards are a bit reversed. Something about the Daughter relating to the Pages, but actually being the most powerful like the Kings. Not sure if I described that properly. Can you elaborate?

I wanted to love the Tarot Of Vampyres deck but I am just not drawn to the artwork at all. I love the gothic look and am drawn to many other vampire, gothic, dark decks just not this one. I am more drawn to his Faerie Enchantments Oracle deck, which is on my wish list. I do however want to get the guidebook eventually. I am literally just learning all about oracle and tarot, super new to all of this. I have my first Oracle deck but it was a gift from hubby and he got the wrong edition of it so I hate to say that I'm not drawn to this edition at all but it's the sad truth. It is the Wild Wisdom of the Faery Oracle by Lucy Cavendish and it's the newer edition with the yellowish border around it. I really hate the border and just can't get past it so I haven't felt like even reading the book because I'm just so disappointed with this deck. I really want to like it because my hubby tried so hard to get the perfect deck for me.
