Hi Sarah, loved this episode... I am also 23 year old, my mother is a housewife. I can totally relate to the part where your mother said that some children feel their mother is useless and do not respect her because she chose to stay at home taking care of the children as I have encountered some people with same mindset. I just had my mother listen to this episode and I translated every sentence (the jokes were hard to translate though😂) she loved it and asked to show other episodes... much much love to everyone, the whole team and you ❤ Anyways addicted to your content and keep the energy high. Love you

Aunty’s words and wisdom are so on point. In awe of her completely. I believe men and women both have a responsibility to bring something to the table - sharing the load should be normalised for everything be it household chores, taking care of kids or earning. More power to you and your mom ❤

Just done with the first one and jumped to this ! I always felt your mom as a very strong and vocal lady. After hearing her story about being so patient, I thought a lot of things from her perspective as well and the fact that there will be flaws in a relationship . I love the way she puts her ideas into words . Indeed she is a great teacher ! Loving the podcast ❤

Hey! I've been enjoying these podcasts, please make a podcast on how strict your childhood was in terms of the clothes you wear due to certain religious restrictions and how you and your mom actually dealt with it, and how difficult it was for aunty to be in a totally different atmosphere (there must be problems she would have faced as she married into a different community) I would love listening to her experiences

Thanks a lot Aunty... How beautifully you described this.. being a working mom (teacher) and having a nuclear family (husband, 1 year baby and I) it's so difficult.. from the hustle to struggle and to harassment... It's so difficult... I can relate so much... It's obviously because of money to maintain the lifestyle and go on with my passion which makes me happy. I do feel guilty of not being able to give the baby the time she needs...

You know Sarah I luv your main channel and see so much of what I wished to be back in days.. I am currently 39 and a mom of a 7 yrs old boy. I have worked on corporates for 12 yrs before I become a mother n decided to leave my job. The way your mom explained about self identity.. I loved it.. rarely people understand that and support a mother.. thankfully my hubby supported.. I was literally about to hit major depression coz I wasn't getting any mee time and wasn't able to identity myself as SAHM. After working for all your adult life ,staying at home isn't easy. Thankfully I decided to get into content creation. I took it very very slow .. grew slowly but continued creating content since last 7 yrs.. in no race to become big but just to have something that I can call it my own. This keeps me so much sane.. I don't have mom guilt and still be happy in life. I hope all women, new moms learn from this podcast how important it is to be a Happy Mom .. only then you will raise a happy child and happy family. Thank u both for this Podcast.. I am definitely sharing it on my mommy community ❤ lots of hugs to u both ❤❤

I felt a little sad listening to this episode. I understand Sarah's POV about never having her mom come for school activities but I feel for Silvia ma'am a little more. We're all going to be working moms and i felt that you were a little harsh on your mom for not being able to make it when i am sure she tried her best. Also just a point of feedback - can we mention ma'am's name somewhere in the podcast. Everywhere on the page we're only seeing Sarah's mom. Since the podcast is mummy logic, can y'all write Sarah's mom, Silvia? or something like that. A little more identification to ma'am. Congrats on a smooth release for episode 2 #Sarahsquad
@themummylogic Жыл бұрын
Hello Priya, thankyou for the feedback! Sarah tries to be as respectful and true to herself in her content. She obviously respects her mom multitasking NOW, but as a 8 year old - I’m sure you don’t expect her to have the understanding then? She’s only sharing a memory. Also, the description of the channel itself says Sylvia ma’am and we address her by her own identity everywhere possible!🩵
@priyacray Жыл бұрын
@@themummylogic Yes of course I totally understand the memory recall. I've spent many days complaining to my own mother like that. I only recently realised how much it hurts her so I shared the same sentiments here. My bad for not having read the channel description. I didn't know if she spelt her name with Y or an I and I couldn't find it in the video description. Hence the feedback. Maybe you can incorporate it here as well? much love to the team. Waiting for your silver button ❤

My parents could never attend my schools parent teacher meeting. I come from a nuclear family that to both mom and dad working. I was so bright as a student, that I would be always elected as prefect, student duties during these parents teacher meetings. So I remember saying to my class teacher, that oh my parents won't be able to make it, can I just sign, or can you let it pass please, because of my diligence they would make an exception every single time. I did feel left out as a kid, but being in my early 20's, I realized that The Moral of the story was: "I was being sent to one of the best schools of the town, because both my parents were working" So coming from a not so wealthy family, I knew that both my parents worked tirelessly to give me the best they can, and honestly not being fed with a silver spoon all the time, made me the person I'm today; Independent, mature and understanding. I know how to be there myself, because eventually biological life cycle is ticking its clock on everybody, at the end of the day, it's you on your own ❤ Sending warmth and love Sarah and Sylvia Ma'am ⭐
