The decals look really good, it’s cool that you can print white decals! I’m happy to see you made it Colin McRae’s car 🇬🇧

Hi Kenji, the carbon decals rolled over the edges very well. They blend in unnoticed. When using masking tape for painting, the lines always turn out crisp without color bleeding. What brand, and type of masking tape do you use for this. Thank you for sharing Kenji, and take care.

Hi Brian, thank you. For masking tape, I use GSI Creos' masking tape for the yellow one, and Tamiya's curve masking tape for the white, softer one. Both are easy to use and don't leave much adhesive residue. However, I weaken the adhesive on the yellow tape by sticking it to my hand once before using it.

@@kenji-plasticmodels Thank you for the information Kenji
Nice work Kenji. Colin would have the Scottish St Andrews cross in pretty sure and Nicky the Welsh Flag.

I looked through how you cut two template to carbon decal, but I don't understand, why needed two. You stick the first template to the carbon decal backside, and you get the invert side. Less time. I hope I could help a little bit.

great work. Can I ask what do you mean by “MD Printer” ?
@kenji-plasticmodels2 ай бұрын
The MD printer is a unique printer released nearly 30 years ago by ALPS. It used a distinctive micro dry method that employed ink ribbons.
