I have a friend that was still mountain biking a week before she had her son. They were both perfectly fine and he's a flourishing teenager now. You keep rocking and ignore those dummies!
@Marc983385 жыл бұрын
Yh smart if she wouldve hit a rock and fell down... And youve the nerve to call people dummies... What Kristin is doing is fine though. But obviously she's smart about it.

Congratulations Pope!!! I admire you so much !! Just wanted to let you know that I competed in my first weightlifting meet at So Cal Weightlifting. I thought of you and your drive as a lifter. Your posts and vlogs have inspired me. Thank you for being such an inspirational woman, for showing us your journey as a weightlifting and now as a weightlifting mom. Thank you. ❤️❤️❤️

Pregnancy is rough, for me towards the end is was amazing when it came to lifting. I did have to switch to hang instead of power for most lifts but I was lifting at 80-90% of my lifts in almost everything which was awesome! So don’t you worry the lifting will start feeling better 💕

Very happy that you and your baby are safe and doing well after the accident.The strength and muscle,that you built from all your years of lifting,served you well there.Avoid listening to all the doubters.Only you,and you alone,know what your body can do and take,and you ,definately know what to do.Best of luck and nothing but good vibes for you and your family in the coming months!

Yay for a BABY GIRL!!! I enjoy your videos very much. Thanks for sharing your 1st trimester journey. I appreciate your attitude and patience with the process. I think the idea of "embracing the season" and meeting ourselves where we are can really impact a person's attitude towards wellness and fitness, no matter what stage. Whenever I don't feel like I want to do a workout, my go-to phrase that snaps me out of doing nothing is: "something is better than nothing." Thanks again for sharing!

I was active with both my pregnancy’s right up until the end. Made for easy pregnancy and fast smooth delivery’s. Spoil yourself with massages to if you can. ☺️ That was 22 years ago. My babes are all grown up. Both still love to cuddle though. 💜

So sorry to hear about the car accident. One of the luckiest days of my life was the day when my wife was 8.5 months pregnant with our second son and she was rear ended by a distracted driver while stopped at a red light. The impact was so bad that her car was pushed through the intersection and thankfully no cars were coming through the intersection. Blessed beyond measure that she and our son were fine. Best wishes!

I didn't used to lift before pregnancy and I ended up with split stomach muscles. It's frustrating and they're still split now 7 years later about 2-3 cm but they don't affect anything really, I just have to be very careful how I do things like planks, ghds etc.

Some people are so stupid. like the best thing to do for yourself and your baby is to do things you usually are used to be doing. Ofcourse it is harder, because you not only have to be taking care of yourself, but also another human that is growing rapidly. If you are a person that usually works out only 3 times a week and maybe one hour each time, then ofcourse you shouldnt lift heavy weights, because your body is not used to it. You are used to workout really intense with weights, so ofcourse it is not only okay, but also good for you.

Thought all Popes had special cars!:) Don´t get why you can´t bench without an arch. Especially since the weight on the bar isn´t that important for you being a weightlifter. Keep going Kristin and good to hear that you and the baby are safe and sound!

When pregnant, you shouldn't be flat on your back at any time because it can block blood flow to your uterus. You can't even sleep flat on your back.
@kennethsteelhammer5 жыл бұрын
@@emilylamb7223 - thanks for the info Emily! Maybe incline bench then?:) Thought it would be a good time for Kristin to strengthen her chest and shoulders and get the support from a bench.
