The low profile of the Strv 103 may actually be beneficial in this mod. Amazing work btw, I have seen worse Strv 103's in the tank building game "sprocket", and this was done in bloody minecraft, with the internals and everything, fantastic stuff! A far cry from the good ol' days of the classic "Zeppelin mod" that is for sure, minecraft modding has gotten far, and so has the games builders.

Shouldn't the side be covered with Jerry cans? The slat armor was only on the c variant and it had the Jerry cans on the side for fuel and to stop HEAT rounds

About autoloaders, there was swedish spg bkan 1 (bandkanon 1) which was based on strv 103 (only chassy), this psg had 155 cannon with very quick autoloader. The ammo was exposed at back of the turret

i believe another big reason for why it doesn't have a turret is because it is easier to accommodate an autoloader when the gun isn't moving relative to the hull

While doing research, I did not see anything about the autoloader being a consideration for the fixed-gun design, but you are correct in that it does make loading mechanically simpler and quicker

@@qarsan2 well that was the case with emil (kranvagn) project which itself was based on the french tanks with oscillating turrets like amx 50 or amx 13. the autoloader which is located in the back of the oscillating (upper) part of the turret is aligned with the gun, which again as said before makes it easier and simpler
